On 25th October 2012 SecsintheCity, the UK’s # 1 job site for PAs and Secretaries, announced the winners of their PA of the Year Awards at The Ivy restaurant in London.
Paul Halliwell, Managing Director of SecsintheCity, said, “Against a backdrop of sustained economic uncertainty, the PA job market has proved remarkably resilient, demonstrating the critical role that PAs play in today’s organisation. We launched our PA of the Year Awards to recognise the hard work and professionalism of PAs.”
The winners of SecsintheCity Awards 2012 are:
- PA of the Year - Eleanor Marshall from Absolute Radio
- Legal PA of the Year - Christina Ploutarchou from Capsticks Solicitors
- Team PA of the Year - Ming Lai Tsang from Goldman Sachs
- Social Networking PA of the Year - Donna Coulling, celebrity PA
Eleanor Marshall, PA to COO & Marketing Director of Absolute Radio, PA of the Year 2012 said “I am genuinely honoured to have been chosen as the first ever SecsintheCity “PA of the Year”. I’m passionate about celebrating the work of PAs, and I’m extremely proud to have been included in these awards. Full credit must also go to Absolute Radio for giving me the opportunity and allowing me to grow the role and redefine what it means to be a Personal Assistant.”
Following the success of this year’s awards, SecsintheCity are planning for next year’s PA of the Awards to take place in October 2013.
