.

Search Consultancy has scooped the award for Best Performing Business (over 251 employees) at the Edinburgh Evening News Business Excellence Awards 2005.

Search received the award in recognition of the companyís continued growth since its launch in 1987. In the last five years, Search has grown from three sites in Scotland to 11 in the UK, and from 170 to over 450 staff in the same period.

Kai McCabe, Search Consultancyís Managing Director, Scotland said, ìSince the company launched in 1987, we have embarked on an aggressive growth strategy. We currently have 11 sites across the UK, and with our new Birmingham supersite due to open in May, 2005 promises to be another momentous year.î

Earlier this month, Search opened a new, state of the art, response handling centre in Dunfermline, allowing the company to manage a range of projects from all over the UK, on behalf of clients who donít have the resources to handle volume advert responses.

Kai McCabe said, ìThe success of Search is dependent on a very talented team and I was delighted to accept the award in recognition of their remarkable achievements.î
