Search Consultancy, the total recruitment solutions company, today (09 December 2010) announced the opening of its new premises in Dundee, as the company continues to grow its operations in the city.
Search, which has had a presence in Dundee for more than ten years, has invested in a new city centre location at City Quay to be more accessible for candidates and help increase its profile in the area.
The move to the new shop-front premises has been led by increased local demand for the company’s recruitment services, which cover office, call and contact centre, legal, construction, accountancy and supply chain across Tayside, Perth and Stirlingshire regions.
Since opening in Dundee, Search Consultancy has built a strong client base, attracting business from both the private and public sector, and has invested in a number of local initiatives to support and encourage people into the job market.
The 500-strong UK company, headquartered in Glasgow, recently announced its intention to grow the business in Scotland by 20 per cent over the next year. Focusing on attracting new talent across its five Scottish sites, the company will continue to invest in its operations to capitalise on the growth opportunities within the Scottish recruitment market.
Simone Lockhart, managing director of Search Consultancy in Scotland, said:
“We’re really pleased with the look and location of our new office. Dundee has been a particularly successful location for us in 2010, and we’re responding to the uplift in business through this investment to ensure our clients and candidates have access to the best possible service.
“The team of 15 specialist consultants who work out of the Dundee office are well placed to assist both job seekers and clients alike, and we look forward to continuing to strengthen our position in Dundee as we move into 2011.”
