Orion Group, Scotlandís leading recruitment agency, has been selected by the Department of Work and Pensions to provide specialist jobsearch support for newly unemployed professionals.

The scheme was initiated in response to the economic downturn and aims to train redundant executives on modern job hunting skills and give advice on how to transfer or update their expertise to secure new employment.

Orion Group has been selected for its 21 yearsí expertise in placing job seekers in new and prosperous employment. The recruitment agency will offer support and advice to any staff facing redundancy and offer confidential jobsearch assistance.

Participants in the programme will have access to Orionís extensive database of vacancies and the experienced team will match candidates to suitable positions, assist with references and provide invaluable guidance ahead of interviews. Candidates will be referred to the project through Jobcentre Plus advisers.
