Sandeep Vachhani hired to develop IT and Sales desk

EAST-Lancashire recruitment specialist Neville Gee has appointed Sandeep Vachhani to oversee the development of a specialist IT and Sales recruitment desk

EAST-Lancashire recruitment specialist Neville Gee has appointed Sandeep Vachhani to oversee the development of a specialist IT and Sales recruitment desk.

The appointment comes as Neville Gee looks to further extend its reach across the North of England as a Recruitment Partner of choice operating from its Burnley and Leeds offices.

The company has seen like-for-like revenues increase by almost 60 per cent since last year and is keen to augment its commercial, manufacturing and engineering specialisms with IT and Sales, as it continues to meet growing demand for its services.

The new appointee is a 31 year-old Glasgow University graduate with a degree in Computer Science. Since his graduation he has worked as a specialist recruiter.

Neville Gee director Tim Oldfield, said: “Neville Gee was traditionally seen as a temporary staffing provider, but we’ve evolved into a recruitment, employment and HR consultancy business that specialises in Engineering, Finance and HR. Sandeep’s appointment means that we can now add Sales and IT to our portfolio, so we can really meet the entire recruitment needs of most organisations.”

“Sandeep made the initial approach to us and we’ve been really impressed by his positive attitude, market knowledge and ability to win new business. In his first six days in the business he brought in 16 permanent jobs from a cold start!”

Sandeep’s background saw him growing up in Saudi Arabia having been born in Mumbai. He feels that this diversity of experience has molded and affected the way he works.

“I have an ability to empathise with people. I’ve been in so many different situations and environments and had to adapt,” he said.

“Also my IT background means I fully understand technical jargon, corporate languages, web development and business administration. I think this really helps the client as I can source the right candidate – we take the absolute opposite approach to those recruiters that throw mud at a wall and see what sticks.”

Sandeep added: “I’m delighted to have joined Neville Gee – after my initial approach things went very well. Going forward, I’d like to extend our services to existing clients, as well as see us grow across Lancashire and Yorkshire. I think we’ll succeed with this as we continue to offer a one-to-one approach and let businesses know that there’s someone out there who can be their recruitment partner offering long term value!”
