s1 appoints new Head of Sales

The new Head of Sales at s1 is to be Stephen Currie, currently the Regional Sales Director at Tennent Caledonian.

s1 Managing Director Mark Smith said: ìWe were delighted with the high calibre of candidates and equally delighted to have secured the services of someone with Stephenís ambition and experience.î

ìIt may surprise some that weíve appointed someone from outside the media sector to such a key role but talent is talent and itís good to challenge convention once in a while.î

Stephen takes over a sales team recently crowned ìOnline Sales Team of the Yearî and a 10m revenue line: ìIíve had a great time at Tennent Caledonian but the lure of s1ís success to date and continuing ambition was very attractive.î

Stephen, whoís 36, will take up his new role in January.
