Rosemary McLean has been appointed as a senior consultant at global human resources consultancy, Career Innovation (Ci). Her focus will be to support the practical high-impact projects that lie at the heart of Ciís partnership working philosophy.
Rosemary will be working with partners in the Ci Group, which is an alliance of some of the worldís leading firms, including Boeing, BT, GlaxoSmithKline, Marriott, Nokia, PricewaterhouseCoopers and UBS.
A Chartered Occupational Psychologist, Rosemaryís last major role was Director of Development Services with Rights Coutts (now Right Management), where she set up a career development and consultancy practice, eventually growing it into a 2 million business. She has also worked as an independent consultant for several years.
Speaking of her new appointment, Rosemary says: I am keen to help Ci continue its evolution and growth. The Ci approach is unique in the way it creates a dialogue with companies, building relationships at a senior level and stretching their goals for HR and learning and development. I enjoy working in a challenging way - challenging the client and helping people to think differently about what they do and how they do it.
Rosemary is an experienced coach, assessor and facilitator in areas such a personal effectiveness, career change, team development, self-assessment, leadership of change and coaching skills. Her previous consulting experience includes the design and implementation of career development processes for a major international bank, which increased internal mobility and employee retention.
She has also consulted at board level in a public service organisation in the design and cascade of a culture change initiative Future Positive aimed at all 2,000 employees. In partnership with an international telecom business she worked with the design team to introduce an on-line career development resource for 1,800 users.
