In September retailmoves.com, the online job site for the retail sector launched an Online Directory of Corporate Careers Websites.

Retailers are recruiting more and more directly investing in their own online recruitment systems from having a retail careers page on their corporate website to having whole retail recruitment microsites. E-recruitment specialist Peter Gold, founder of Hire Strategies, provides an insight into the reasons retailers have set up these means of receiving applications and the advantages of applying via these websites.
