Recruiters will be given the chance to learn how commercial relationships can achieve tangible benefits for their business at a Recruitment and Consulting Services Association (RCSA) luncheon in Canberra on Monday 23 October and Darwin on Wednesday 29 November.

ìAs recruiters, the industry is used to creating business relationships between people, but this skill needs to be extended to businesses,î President of the RCSA, Mr Stephen Shepherd MRCSA, said.

ìIn the modern business world, the ability to make and grow commercial relationships is a major factor in long-term prosperity,î he said.

With 18 years experience in the recruitment industry, Stephen Shepherd will discuss his experiences in leveraging relationships with industry suppliers through the programs developed by the RCSA.

ìDeveloping longer-term, stable relationships allows companies to build off each otherís strengths to form strategic alliances, whether official or informal,î Mr Shepherd said.

Other topics to be discussed include, the benefits of leveraging Membership to the RCSA to improve commercial achievements, RCSA Standards and its marketability to clients and accreditation- the future of professional recruitment.
