reed.co.uk makes an impact on the Public Sector

Online recruitment service, reed.co.uk, reports the acquisition of a number of key clients within the Public and Voluntary Sectors

Online recruitment service, reed.co.uk, reports the acquisition of a number of key clients within the Public and Voluntary Sectors.

In recent weeks, reed.co.uk has won new contracts with a range of government and non-profit bodies, including the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust, Cheshire Constabulary, Mencap and the British Heart Foundation.

As well as posting jobs, public sector organistions are increasingly looking at online as an effective medium to promote their employer brand, as Martin Warnes, Managing Director at reed.co.uk, explains:

All businesses, the Public Sector included, continue to squeeze their budgets, and right now is a real opportunity for online recruitment to shine.

As well as offering a genuine return on their investment, reed.co.uk gives Public Sector organisations the widest possible exposure, not only for their vacancies, but also for their brand.î

There are currently over 59,000 registered jobseekers on reed.co.uk in the Charity & Voluntary sector and more than 95,000 in the Public Sector, whilst the site continues to outperform its rivals. reed.co.uk was the highest rated commercial job site for visits in March 2009, according to Hitwise.

Further client wins are anticipated, with current trials being run for over 35 local authority, NHS and charity organistions.
