Telegraph Media Groupís (TMG) recruitment website, Jobs.telegraph.co.uk, has recorded nearly 3.9 million page impressions for September, according to the latest ABCe figures.
The recent ABCe figures also show that the recruitment site attracted over 533,000 global unique users.
Jobs.telegraph.co.uk was re-launched in September last year as part of the Telegraphís ongoing investments in online activities, resulting in improved functionality for both jobseekers and recruiters.
When compared to last yearís Webtrends* figures, the latest results from ABCe indicate that Jobs.telegraph.co.uk has increased its global traffic by over 100% year on year.
The number of global unique users for the Jobs site has increased by 97 percent compared with the same month last year and the number of page impressions has seen a growth of 105 percent from September 2007*.
As part of the re-design of Jobs.telegraph.co.uk last year, TMG focused its strategy on core markets such as Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales. The success of this approach has in turn helped to grow new sectors such as Secretarial, IT, Customer Service and Education.
In attracting a wider audience of jobseekers, Jobs.telegraph.co.uk has also managed to grow itís CV database, which launched at the beginning of 2008, to over 75,000 candidates.
The number of applications through the site in September 2008 has also increased by over 105%, when compared to the same month last year.
Alex Foster, Classified Sales Director, TMG, said: ìEighteen months ago we invested heavily in Jobs.telegraph.co.uk and it has paid off. In 2007 we expanded our reach within the recruitment market and increased our revenues by 70% year on year. 2008 has seen continued growth with traffic increasing by 100% and revenues look set to have grown by over 65% on last year.î
