Recruitment event takes a new online form

.

Opportunities to find jobs in the Finance, Legal, Healthcare, Sales & Marketing, Multilingual & Customer Support sectors will be provided by leading recruitment website LoadzaJobs.ie when they host a three week recruitment fair over the internet next month.

Building on well-attended real-life careers events, Jobsfair.ie is a media rich virtual event, offering attendees a highly interactive environment whilst replicating aspects of a physical event.

This is done by creating a content-rich website that is interactive and interesting by using functionality such as videos and podcasts to provide information about a company, as well as industry insights and extensive career advice.

LoadzaJobs.ie is building on the success of their first Online JobsFair last May, which showcased career opportunities in the Medical, Science and IT sectors.

A major factor in the decision to launch a series of online fairs was the desire to make it easier for jobseekers to attend our fairsî, said Michael Wallace, Commercial Director of LoadzaJobs.ie. ìLogging onto a virtual fair for an hour is much less intrusive than having to take a day off to attend an event in person.î

Competition on a global scale is forcing companies to look at innovative ways of both marketing and recruiting. ìEmployers will have difficulty attracting high quality jobseekers if they do not take steps to engage with peopleî, Wallace added. ìThey must present themselves in a way that will attract the jobseeker, and build a relationship with them so that they want to apply for a role.î

Online recruitment fairs give employers real costs savings plus increased ease and efficiency in the recruitment process. Significant cost savings can be achieved through the reduction in placement costs and advertising fees, reducing the resource required to recruit along with administrative savings. It also gives candidates an improved experience.

JobsFair is a boutique event; it runs for three weeks online and is showcasing opportunities from leading companies like Dell, IBM, Amazon, Bank of New York, Brown Brothers Harriman, Zurich and Starwood.

LoadzaJobs.ie will run two Jobs Fairs concurrently in September, one for Finance, Legal, Secretarial and Healthcare, the other for Sales, Marketing, Customer Support and Multilingual.

Employers and Jobseekers can now register their interest in the event by logging onto www.jobsfair.ie.

JobsFair will be live from 25th September to 20th October 2008.
