The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), the professional body representing the UK’s private recruitment industry, is giving its members expert advice on how to succeed in the tendering process in light of predictions that the number of public sector contracts is likely to fall in the future.

As part of its current public sector resourcing campaign, the REC is holding the second in its series of Winning Tenders workshops in Edinburgh on Tuesday April 20, the first one in London having been a sell-out. Feedback from delegates after the first workshop confirmed they had found it informative and had learned new tendering techniques as a result.

Leading the workshop will be tendering expert Jeff Brooks, who is one of the recruitment industry’s leading bid managers.

After demystifying the public sector buying process, Jeff will take delegates through the various stages of the tendering, from speaking the same language to preparing and structuring responses before showing how to produce a winning executive summary and measure success.
