Recruiters put best foot forward with Wallace and Gromit

A team of 6 representing specialist accountancy recruiter Andrew Farr Associates have just completed the Bristol half marathon in aid of Wallace and Gromitís Grand Appeal.

The 13 mile run was one of a series of activities aimed to raise 11m towards the planned 22 million cost of the new Royal Hospital for Children in Bristol, with runners from Andrew Farr Associates hoping to raise 2,000. Managing Director Andy Farr commented that ìit is great that we have been able to help the local community we work in, and even more encouraging that our candidates and clients have been so generous and supported us.î

The fastest runner representing Andrew Farr Associates was Ben Thomas in a superb time of 1hr and 40 minutes. The average team time was 2hrs 40 seconds. This was a particularly good effort considering some people took double this.
