Kelly, Quest and Accountants On Call were announced as the 2007 Recruiter Of The Year winners at the 4th Annual Junction Awards, held at Theatre On The Track in Kyalami on 22 August 2007.
CareerJunctionís prestigious Awards honour best practices in Recruitment and give South African career seekers the opportunity to vote for Recruitment Agencies that have excelled in Personal Service, Understanding their Career Requirements, Advice and Guidance, Negotiations, Securing Interviews and Placement and Post Placement Advice.
The 2007 Junction Awards are an initiative of CareerJunction, South Africaís leading career web service, and were held in association with the Sowetan and Sunday World newspapers for the second consecutive year. ìThis is our second year of involvement with CareerJunction and our job market editions have shown significant growth. It shows how important it is to help someone get a job,î said Sowetan and Sunday Worldís editor-in-chief Thabo Leshilo.
The 2007 Awards were once again divided into three categories ñ small, medium and large. The Agency size is determined by the number of jobs they advertise on CareerJunction.
Kris Jarzebowski, CEO of CareerJunction (a Johnnic Communications company), announced that the 2007 Junction Awards were more than double the size of the previous year ñ with over 430 guests attending the prominent event and more than 2,600 votes cast for the Recruiter Of The Year by South Africaís career seekers.
ìThis tremendous growth signals the increasing importance of this event in the recruitment calendar. It also shows just how much growth CareerJunction has experienced over the past year ñ from Resumes to Jobs to Traffic to Website visits - and we are still one of the most visited websites in SA and the biggest careers portal in SA by far,î said Jarzebowski.
