The latest independent audit of s1jobs traffic, for October 2007, has recorded another massive increase in users on Scotlandís leading recruitment platform.
According to ABCE s1jobs attracted 441,769 unique users in October, an increase of more than 40,000 users compared with the sites last audit, in May.
Mark Smith, s1 Managing Director, said: ìItís a fantastic result, and shows that all the product development and investment in highly targeted marketing is paying off, not just for us but Scotlandís recruiters and jobseekers as well. To put the users figure in context, itís the equivalent of one in five of the Scottish working population visiting s1jobs in a single month, and weíve got even more exciting developments planned for 2008. ì
The ABCE audit forms part of the National Online Recruitment Audience Survey, which combines audited traffic figures with detailed demographic profiling of the UKís leading recruitment sites. The full NORAS results will be published in January. The last NORAS survey (August 2007) showed that s1jobs had almost three times as many Scottish users as its nearest rival.
s1jobs launched in January 2001 and immediately became the market leading recruitment website in Scotland. More than 2,000 businesses ñ including Scotlandís top 5 PLCs ñ now recruit through the site.
