s1jobs has recorded its highest ever traffic figures during the month of May. Over 375,000 unique users visited the site, as a result of an extensive new marketing campaign which ran throughout the month.
David Craik, Head of Marketing at s1 said: ìs1jobs was already the clear market leader in Scotland, with almost three times as many Scottish users as our nearest rival. This campaign, which was one of our biggest ever, proves that weíre committed to continued investment in the brand in order to extend our lead.
ìThe campaign has delivered a significant increase in traffic during May, including a record breaking day when for the first time ever the site attracted more than 40,000 visitors in a 24 hour period. To put that in perspective, the Scotsman newspaper only sells around 55,000 copies each day, and ours is a service focused entirely on recruitment. Weíve also seen the average number of CVs uploaded on daily basis rise to double what it was before the campaign broke, taking the total number to over 50,000. That means there are thousands of brand new candidates available to recruiters using our database services.î
s1jobs is currently carrying between 9 and 10,000 Scottish vacancies at any one time. Over the past year more than 2,000 companies used s1jobs to fill vacancies including Scotlandís top 5 PLCís.
