As of August 1st 2006, the company Profesia put a new job portal www.workania.hu in Hungary into operation. It will be based on well-proven principles identical with those providing the operation of www.profesia.sk in Slovakia. Interconnection of both portals is obvious at first sight due to theirs uniform design.

New portal allows taking advantage of services identical with those being provided by the company Profesia to its clients in Slovakia.

That means the opportunity for companies to post job offers and search for job candidates in a CV database. The option to create job seekerís profile or utilize various advertising formats belongs to inherent functionalities of the portal.

Well-proven administration of job offers, which is not usual for the Hungarian market, has been maintained. Clients at www.workania.hu can choose between posting an offer, its modification or deletion and they shall not seek website providerís approval. If necessary, any questions and issues can be consulted also with the Department of Customer Support staff by phone or e-mail.

In addition to job search and CV posting functions, job seekers will be provided with the option to create the offer agent which will send appropriate offers directly to their e-mail account.

Any services available at www.workania.hu will be naturally free for job seekers.

ìWe believe www.workania.hu will become soon a favourite and important part of Hungarian labour market,î says Dalibor Jakuö, managing director of the company Profesia. All attributes of the Slovak website which are going to be operated also in Hungary, should contribute to the overall success. Flexibility resulting from custom technology, favourable prices as compared to the competition, and especially, credibility of the portal content provided by the verification of all advertising companies, posted offers and CVs, are the most concerned ones. ìWe see a huge opportunity in substantially lower level of online recruitment utilization in Hungary compared to that in Slovakia, where such activity became a standard.î

When promoting the new interned-based service, the company Profesia could use potential of media belonging to the same portfolio and sharing the same owner, the British media holding Daily Mail and General Trust and its Hungarian branch, the company Lapcom, Kft.
