Press Gazette and Hollis Publishing realise e-recruitment revenue with Madgex

New PR and journalist job boards launched, www.jobs4journalists.co.uk, www.jobsinpr.com

Madgex, the specialist provider of job board software, today announces the launch of niche community job board sites www.jobs4journalists.co.uk and www.jobsinpr.com for Hollis Publishing, part of the Wilmington Group Plc.

Wilmington's aim to create a market defining information portal for the public relations and journalist communities, using its existing commercial understanding and relationships, is brought to life using Madgex's Origin Job Board.

Madgex has delivered quality recruitment boards for over five years by placing interactive candidate and consultant functionality and usability at the heart of its sites. Its job boards improve user attraction, conversion and retention, as well as opening up serious revenue streams for job board owners.

Tony Loynes, editor-in-chief of Press Gazette and Group Editorial Director of Wilmington Business Information, said: This is a natural pairing. Journalism and PR work hand-in-hand and teeth-in-neck and, while there are natural strains and stresses between the two, both recognise the symbiosis. Since we launched, smoothly thanks to the Madgex technology, we are on track to becoming the largest site for journalism jobs in the UK.

Les Kelly, Managing Director at Hollis, stated: We chose to work with Madgex based on the impressive results it has delivered for other clients. Its job boards go beyond those we have seen competitors offer, providing a truly engaging experience for our communities and supplying convincing bottom line results.

James Burton, Sales Director at Madgex added: Hollis Publishing is an impressive name to add to any client list. The specialist business-to-business publisher is synonymous with the PR industry, as is Press Gazette with journalists. It was a delight to work with Wilmington whose recognised strength in its communities will be increased through the new job boards.
