P&MM launches childcare-plus

p&mm, a performance improvement business, is launching childcare vouchers entitled Childcare-Plus to expand its range of flexible and voluntary benefits.

The vouchers, which will be available either as a stand-alone product or as part of a wider benefits package, will be delivered as e-vouchers and will be available online in both PC and Mac versions, making them safe, secure and easy to use for both parent and carer alike.

David Lebond, executive director at p&mm commented: The biggest advantage for parents using p&mmís childcare vouchers is that they are not confined to using just one specific nursery chain as this often causes a great deal of confusion. Childcare-Plus vouchers are redeemable at any registered or approved childcare provider, allowing parents to chose the nursery, day-care centre or crche that is most convenient to them.

We are aware of the huge cost of childcare, and in addition to the tax and National Insurance breaks, wanted to give something else back. So we will also be offering parents up to 28 per cent off or 2 for 1 entry at over 300 theme parks, Zoos and tourist attractions across the UK. These include Legoland, The Sea Life Centre, Alton Towers, London Zoo and Chessington World of Adventure - another way of saving busy Mums and Dads even more money.

To help explain the scheme to employees, organisations that take up the new voucher scheme will also benefit from a full promotional launch campaign, including posters, e-shots, and CD-ROM/DVD presentations for staff. Additionally, p&mm offers a fully supported and administered service to employer, employee and childcare provider alike, which includes a dedicated helpline to deal with all queries related to the scheme.

p&mm suggests allowing 4-6 weeks set up which allows time for implementation of an effective marketing and communication plan but it is also possible to set it up in just 7-10 days. From there, a fixed deduction to the employeeís salary is applied through payroll, meaning that administration will be minimal. p&mm operate flexible payment options and will provide statements of all transactions to both the parent and the childcare provider.
