Penna Executive Interim strengthens team

Penna Plc, the human capital management consultancy, announces three new appointments to its Executive Interim team.

Simon Drake joins as Sector Head of Transport, Construction and Professional Services, Tim Paylor as Sector Head of Energy and Utilities and Charles Wilson moves from Pennaís Public Sector Resourcing service line into the role of Consultant, Public Sector.

Simon comes from Buchanan Scott, where he headed up the Interim management practice. Prior to this Simon worked as an independent business consultant and executive resourcing specialist for over four years, and was Divisional Managing Director for the 20m resourcing division of the consultancy, Diagonal plc. He has worked with public and private sector clients from SMEís through to board level of FTSE 100 companies, successfully delivering cross-functional assignments from CEO level through to technical/project specialists.

Tim was previously at IT staffing companies, Spring Group and Harvey Nash Plc. At Spring Group, Tim was responsible for improved efficiency and profitability nationwide, including managing a relocation programme of a team of consultants. Tim was also the owner and Managing Director of IT recruitment company, Infocus IT Recruitment Ltd, specialising in contract services.

Charlesí background and expertise is in Public Sector Resourcing and this specialism will continue in the Interim team. Prior to joining Penna in 2004, Charles was at Capita, where he spent five years recruiting for and partnering with many central government departments, executive agencies and NDPB’s. His clients have included HM Customs and Excise, the Home Office, the DWP, the DTI and the Commission for Equality and Human Rights. Charles has a BSc (Hons) in Resource Management.
