The second Prospects Challenge Cup was held on Friday 28 August at Powerleague London City with Penna Barkersí team Pennathanaikos emerging as champions following an action-packed evening of football.
Geoff Pedder of Bonkers FC (Euro RSCG Riley) picked up the coveted Player of the Tournament trophy and James Hazell, also of Bonkers FC bagged an impressive 14 goals to claim the Top Goal Scorer award.
Tournament organiser and sales executive Louisa Saunders said: ìWith 10 teams participating, competition was friendly - well, competitive! Congratulations to Pennathanaikos for an excellent display, 80 minutes of solid football with only five players was a feat of physical endurance. Prospects would like to thank everyone who played and supported on the night and looks forward to arranging another tournament soon.î
