Penmac Personnel Services Saves Thousands with TempWorks

With New EDDS Invoice Module, Created by TempWorks Software, Penmac Personnel Services Capitalizes on the Benefits

TempWorks Software, a provider of innovative technology for the staffing industry, today announced news that customer, Penmac Personnel Services, is projected to save thousands over the course of the next year, simply by utilizing the EDDS (Electronic Document Distribution System), Invoice Module, provided by TempWorks.

A Springfield, Missouri-based staffing firm, Penmac offers over twenty years of industry experience and carries out customer service at a premium level. Steadily gaining sizeable growth since its inception, Penmac currently operates over forty locations in multiple states. Its progressive expansion and increasing client base commands a reliable software partner who can deliver the latest in efficiency promoting and capital conserving staffing tools.

As a solution that would integrate seamlessly with its core staffing application, Penmac chose TempWorksí new EDDS Invoice Module to address its current billing needs. Previously printing over seven hundred invoices a week, the related time and costs bound to this process initiated a need for a more efficient time and cost-saving method. A manually intensive task, labor and expenses involved included tediously printing, folding, stuffing, sealing, labeling and stamping each invoice. In the first year alone, Penmac has the potential to save up to $21,000 in excess labor and postage expenses. Savings from these expenses will now allow Penmac to invest in other avenues of business improvement.

The EDDS Invoice Module works to cut down Penmacís weekly billing tasks. From the TempWorks system, the invoice is created into a PDF file and can be electronically mailed to multiple contacts for a client. The EDDS Invoice Module is designed to significantly reduce invoice delivery time and accelerate payment of these invoices.

ìWe have experienced enormous client demand for emailed invoices. In the first two weeks that we used the new emailing function, we sent 271 of our invoices via this method. Our goal is to convert 100 percent of customers,î said Mark Gullet, Application Systems Analyst for Penmac Personnel Services.

Penmac has implemented an ongoing initiative to convert its customers from paper invoices to an electronic delivery method. Within a short time frame, Penmac received greater than expected responses from clients choosing to make the switch. More importantly, Penmac has noticed a decrease in late payments from clients receiving invoices electronically.

The development of the EDDS Invoice module extends from TempWorksí on-going mission to create a paperless staffing environment for the staffing industry.
