Overture and Lycos Europe announce European deal extension and expansion agreement

London, ñ Overture Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yahoo Inc. and provider of essential online marketing services, today announced that it has extended its sponsored search distribution relationship with LYCOS Europe, one of the leading European Internet destinations, and has expanded it to include additional Overture products across six European countries. The deal is a multi-year agreement.

Further to supplying sponsored search results on LYCOS European properties in UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Austria and Switzerland, Overture is now exclusively providing contextual search results to LYCOS Europe properties in Germany, UK, France, Italy, Spain and Netherlands.

As part of the agreement, Overture contextual listings are now displayed on the Chat and Email, Directory, and Channel pages of LYCOS Europe properties in Germany, UK, France, Italy, Spain and Netherlands and on Lycos Shopping pages in UK, France, Germany and Italy.
