Following an eventful complimentary Anti-Social Behaviour seminar in Manchester, Morgan Hunt is pleased to have received over 1,000 in donations towards Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity.
We would like to thank the clients that attended and those that were able to make a donation. The money will go towards helping to tackle the root causes of bad housing by campaigning for new laws, policies, and solutions as well as helping homeless children and families.
The seminar was very well received and speakers addressed issues such as the current trends, policies and local strategies formulated to tackle the ubiquitous problem of anti social behavior. The Respect Agenda was a key theme with Bill Pitt from Manchester City Council discussing ways to create balance between the needs of community and of the perpetrators.
Some of the comments we received:
ìGood seminar, very interesting and useful to my role as an ASB officerî Sharon Malone, Places for People Homes
ìI thoroughly enjoyed the seminar, extremely informative and usefulî Anita Scott, Pennine
ìIt was really topical and insightfulî Ayuba Lawan, 2010 Rotherham Ltd.
Due to the high level of interest for the event, we shall be running a similar seminar in Birmingham in February 2007.
