Specialist IT recruiter Opus Recruitment Solutions is poised for awards success at the 2014 MARA awards on November 19th. The company has been shortlisted for the ‘Best Contract Recruitment Team’ and the ‘Recruitment Boss of the Year’ awards.
The nominations for the 2014 MARA awards follow a period of rapid growth for the company, which has seen revenues rise from £5.9m in 2012 to a projected £23m in 2014, earning them a spot in the Recruiter HOT 100 listing for 2012 and 2013.
Recognising excellence within the marketing and media recruitment sectors, the MARA awards are open to those agencies who have made the greatest contribution within this space. Despite being a specialist IT recruiter, Opus Recruitment Solutions has been selected for its innovative gamification career simulation platform, Talentcubed.
Talentcubed enables students to take part in virtual online simulations created by companies in order to give them an idea of the industry they are looking at joining. There is no career specificity with this site and it has been described by the company as a ‘long term strategy’, which is free to use for students of all disciplines.
Ryan Speed, Sales Director and Director of Contract Recruitment, has been shortlisted for the 'Recruitment Boss of the Year' award. He joined Opus Recruitment Solutions in 2008 as a founding member and is responsible for the sales performance of 45 staff. Ryan was appointed to the Opus Recruitment Solutions Board of Directors in July 2014, and has been critically acclaimed by those he works with.
