Online recruitment site, FE Careers launch their CV Database

Now its even easier to headhunt NVQ Assessors, Tutors and Education Managers

FE Careers have launched their CV database this week. At the time of launch FE Careers had over 20,500 registered job seekers in the niche area of Further Education and Skills (NVQ Assessors, Tutors, Trainers, Lecturers, Verifiers, Managers etc).

The FE Careers CV database is being offered as an enhancement to advertising campaigns. There has been great interest in this new proactive recruitment tool, with both job seekers and advertisers in the Further Education and Skills sector.

Gavin the CEO of FE Careers explains the significance of the new enhancement ëWe are experiencing a huge growth in Further Education, particularly in the Skills sector. With the current Government strategy of increasing Apprenticeships and Work Based Learning has meant that Assessors and Tutors are in high demand. The FE Careers CV database is an enhancement on our advertiserís job ads and enables them to proactively search a group of very niche and highly qualified job seekers, the feedback we are receiving is really positive and this is looking like a very useful tool for many of our advertisers who are recruiting very niche Assessors, Tutors and Managers.

We have had the ability to utilise the CV database since 2004, but our NVQ Assessor and Tutor audience didnít want this released until now. We have to respect the wishes of our job seekers, who have now become very comfortable and experienced at using FE Careers to find their next career move. So the release of the CV database comes at an ideal time for many of our advertisers who are seeking experienced and qualified Further Education and Work Based Learning Skills sector specialists. It also vastly increases the amount of opportunities for our job seekers.í

The FE Careers team are still developing new offerings to their audience. FE Careers news site, FE News is currently going through its fourth development within a year! FE News already incorporates Video news stories across the FE and Skills sector. They have received very positive feedback about their coverage of speeches from Government Ministers and Education Specialists from major events across the FE and Skills calendar. These speeches and strategy sessions were only previously available to key decision makers who attended the events, FE News have now made it possible for everyone in the Further Education and Skills sector to keep up to date with the latest strategies and announcements, to tailor their business strategy to Government policy and strategy and further enhance the interaction with the learner.

FE Careers are finalists in the 2009 Online Recruitment Awards for Best Public Sector Recruitment Site and Innovative Use of Online Marketing. With the new development on www.FEnews.co.uk, letís see what new offerings they will be developing for their audience with this next development.
