Online recruitment company, totallylegal is the UKís leading jobsite for the legal sector

The National Online Recruitment Audience Survey (NORAS) results put totallylegal at the top of the rankings for jobs in the legal sector, with 120,795 unique users - over 90,000 more than any other legal jobsite.

Law firms, in-house legal departments and other professional service organisations are the core employers of totallylegalís audience. The site boasts the largest audience of in-house lawyers with 18,119 using the site, alongside 36,238 solicitors in private practice.

Of those questioned about their current employment status, 17,700 candidates stated that although they were not currently looking for a new role, they would be open to opportunities presented to them via totallylegal.

A typical totallylegal user earns an average salary of 46,400 and has 13.9 years experience. 44% have applied for a job in the last 3 months and of the 68% who are regular users of the site, 25,400 have updated or uploaded their CV.

International recruitment for the legal sector is booming with large interest in opportunities abroad: 20% would work in the Middle East, 19% in Australia and 27% would relocate to North America for the right position.
