The results of the National Online Recruitment Audience Survey (NORAS 2009) show that s1jobs, Scotlandís leading recruitment site, attracts over three times more Scottish jobseekers than its closest rival, Fish4jobs.

The survey results show that s1jobs reaches over 411,000 job seekers resident in Scotland per month, while Fish4jobs attracts just over 126,000.

s1 Managing Director, Mark Smith, said: îOnce again, we are delighted with the results of NORAS, which illustrate the ongoing gap between s1jobs and our competitors. 2008 was a fantastic year for us and 2009 has gotten off to a great start. Even though vacancy numbers are down this year, we are still encouraged by the number of companies recruiting through s1jobs during the economic slowdown. Plus, in January we attracted our biggest ever audience of jobseekers. î

NORAS is the UKís leading source of independent and objective information on the audiences of online recruitment sites. This yearís survey has been the largest to date with more than 50,000 users of online recruitment sites being questioned about their job seeking habits during October and November 2008. Each participating siteís audience figures are fully audited by ABC Electronic to ensure accuracy and consistency.
