Online recruitment business Abseiling to help beat Dementia

Sheffield based MyJobGroup.co.uk, specialists in localised jobs boards, are scaling new heights for the Alzheimerís Society.

Seven members of MyJobGroup staff, including Managing Director Glenn Chapman, are taking part in a sponsored abseil at Sheffield Wednesdayís Hillsborough Football Stadium on Sunday 5th April.

The daredevil group from the company, whose job websites include www.mysheffieldjobs.co.uk, www.mymanchesterjobs.co.uk and www.mybirminghamjobs.co.uk will make the 30 metre abseil back down to earth from the top of the stand and are hoping to raise 1000 as a team.

Glenn says, ëWe wanted to do something for the local community that we could all take part in and that would have an impact. We know that the Sheffield branch of the Alzheimerís Society provides care and support for people in our area with dementia, and we wanted to support their work by doing this sponsored abseil.í
