Northgate Information Solutions plc, a supplier of software applications and outsourcing solutions to the human resources, public sector and corporate markets, announces the acquisition of Edis Partnerships.
Edis Partnerships is a leading pensions systems and administration outsourcing provider, with offices in Bristol, London and Stoke on Trent. The company employs approximately 77 staff, who will be transferred to Northgate Information Solutions as part of the acquisition agreement.
The acquisition of Edis Partnerships further strengthens the position of Northgateís HR division as the UKís largest supplier of HR, payroll and pensions systems and services. The transaction continues Northgateís strategic growth plan to become the leading player in each of its chosen markets, which commenced in July 2002. During this time, Northgate HRís presence has been bolstered by the acquisitions of Prolog4, Carapeople, PWA and Rebus HR. The company now works with nearly 8,000 customers across over 50% of FTSE 100 businesses.
Malcolm Aldis, managing director, Northgate HR, said: Edis Partnerships has established itself as a powerful force in the pensions software and outsourced pensions administration markets. We intend to build on this strong base to satisfy the demands of current and future customers, which will be supported by the combined skills of the Edis and Northgate staff.
