Nomura Private Equity backs MBO of Huntress Holdings Ltd

Nomura, the Asia-based investment bank, today announced that its private equity team has backed a management buyout of Huntress Holdings Ltd, the diversified white collar recruitment firm. Nomura Private Equity is the only institutional investor in Huntress.

Huntress is a leading white collar search and selection company for small to medium sized entities and blue chip corporations, including 50% of the FTSE100 in the areas of executive search, commercial, technology, accounting and finance recruitment. Huntress was established in 2000 by the current management team with backing from Graphite Capital. Huntress has achieved turnover growth of 40% per annum over the last five years, with current annual revenues of 78m.
The business has over 300 personnel across a network of 17 offices primarily in London and the South East. The company expects to increasingly become an international player in recruitment with over 25% of its technology recruitment business being delivered outside the UK.
