New Recruit for NOW Recruitment

Simon Pearce, 32, has been appointed as Business Development Manager for NOW Recruitmentís Nottingham branch.

Simon will be working with a team of eight in Nottingham. His main aim will be to drive the Construction division forward by implementing initiatives that ëadd valueí to existing client accounts, while actively pursuing new sales leads.

Simon, who has been in the recruitment business for over 9 years, brings to the NOW Recruitment team his own dynamic approach and extensive experience.

Simon is no stranger to NOW Recruitment, having started his recruitment career with the business. He spent the first five years of his recruitment career with the company working through the ranks ñ climbing from Resourcer to Divisional Manager.

After leaving NOW Recruitment to ëspread his wingsí Simon joined an Industrial recruitment agency where he was given the challenge of setting up the Construction Division. Starting initially with three staff, Simonís target of expanding the companyís growth in this market exceeded all expectations.

Over eight months, Simon increased growth in further divisions, recruited more staff and was rewarded with a Directorship. Within two years he was instrumental in growing the company from 200K to 2.5m.

Says Simon: ìBeing back at NOW, itís like coming home! My goal is to ensure that the Nottingham team will build on the existing client base and develop new links and schemes that will drive the NOW Construction division forward.
