The Peninsula Group, the privately owned Bristol based office print provider, has appointed a new Executive Chairman. Nick Orme, aged 38, is acknowledged as one of the industryís leading experts in the field of print technology, having worked in the sector for 20 years. Prior to joining Peninsula, Nick was Group Operations Director and a Main Board Member at Toshiba, and Group Sales and Operations director at M2 Digital, one of the UK's leading digital solutions specialists.
Peninsula has already grown to become the largest office print provider in the South West in just five years. Headquartered in Bristol, with a principal office in Exeter, Peninsula offers a comprehensive end to end print solution for business and the public sector. This includes office print hardware and support, print management software, creative services and external communication print.
With Nickís appointment, the company is now developing further significant changes to the print market, offering a completely new and integrated approach to benefit its customers. The company has recently invested 250,000 in a new state of the art digital 'Presstek' printing press to ensure a seamless flow of print production from desk to delivery. With an increase in staff and services, the company will soon be moving into new corporate headquarters in Bristol.
With his previous management posts requiring him to spend significant periods of time in Germany and Japan, Nick says he is delighted to be returning to the West Country, where he started his career in business in 1989, at the start of the last recession, by establishing a successful regional supply company for office equipment, stationery and furniture.
