New Division at Frontline

Frontline Recruitment Ltd has created a new division to extend the companyís range of sectors serviced. The ëPermanent & Professional Servicesí Division will be headed up by newly appointed Martin Barnard who will be based at the Head Office in Nottingham. The new focus of the business will be implemented at all the companiesí offices at Nottingham, Derby, Mansfield, Leicester and Bradford.

Frontline has grown rapidly since it was formed in 2000, to service the temporary and permanent employment needs of manufacturers and other industry sectors. It now has a turnover of over 12million and employs 45 staff. Tony Wilmot, Director of Frontline explains,î Weíve grown rapidly because of our focus and pro-activity. As well as traditional sources such as advertising, we have worked hard at developing links with industry and academia to ensure we have a good match of skills to requirements. It has largely been requests by existing clients that have driven us to invest over 1/4 million in the new division. But weíve only launched it after investment in software and systems as well as recruiting staff with the relevant experience ñ like Martin! He has over 20 years experience in the professional and business services sectors and joins us from his position as Operations Director at Blue Arrow.î

Tony continues, ìIt has taken us a year to put the infrastructure in place for the new division; the markets we now cater for include sales & marketing, legal, banking, accountancy, media and the customer services sectors. The last thing we like to do is to disappoint our client companies or our bank of candidates. An example of the dedication of our staff was recently demonstrated when we received a request for 12 call-centre operatives to start work within four hours; not only were 12 suitable staff found, they were mini-bussed to the client site in time for the start of the shift. Itís that staff dedication that has helped us grow and will ensure that the new division is every bit as successful.î
