New Director at Carlton Resource Solutions

Carlton Resource Solutions (Carlton) has appointed a new Director. Kevin Riley, who has held the post of General Manager at the Aberdeen offices of the recruitment consultants Carlton since 2004, will sit on the board of directors. As a Director of Carlton Kevin will have responsibility for both the Aberdeen and London offices. Carlton is a recruitment solutions provider and matches candidates to employers across the full spectrum of occupations in the accountancy and finance, commercial, HR and training, industrial, information technology, technical and engineering disciplines in both public sector and other corporate environments.

Kevin comments, ìAs a result of my appointment as a director my role within Carlton will become more strategic. Our plans to achieve managed growth include expanding globally with the opening of offices in overseas locations. The first of these is likely to be in Canada and as such I will be visiting Calgary in October to meet with prospective clients, interview personnel and inspect premises.

Following a nine year career in banking Kevin entered the recruitment industry in 1997 when he worked for ASA International as a Consultant. Having gained an understanding of the industry he subsequently moved to Raeburn Recruitment and took up a post running the commercial temp desk. He remained with Raeburn Recruitment for three years acquiring valuable experience in recruitment.

Kevinís next move was to a more senior post as a Senior Consultant at Maxwell Drummond International where his remit included executive search and selection and headhunting. He specialised in the energy market on behalf of a worldwide client base. Kevin joined Carlton Resource Solutions in 2004.
