New appointments at Norman Broadbent

Norman Broadbent announces new appointments in its Energy & Natural Resources, Consumer Practice and Industry & Manufacturing practice areas

Norman Broadbent, the executive search and leadership consultancy firm announces new appointments in its Energy & Natural Resources, Consumer Practice and Industry & Manufacturing practice areas.

David Bull, joins the Energy & Natural Resources Practice as a Senior Consultant from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, where he served as Deputy Consul General based in Houston. During that three and half year assignment he was also head of UK Trade and Investmentís (UKTI) Houston based International Energy Team. During this time he was instrumental in the team winning two national awards for innovation and business development. Prior to this, David undertook a three year secondment based in Glasgow to focusing on UKTIís oil and gas efforts.

Now based in Aberdeen, David reports to Jon Glesinger, Managing Director, Energy & Natural Resources, who commented, ìDavid brings a wealth of knowledge and extensive range of contacts spanning blue-chip oil and gas companies internationally, which will be a significant asset to the existing team.î

Sandrine Peraldi joins Norman Broadbent as a Director in the Consumer Practice, headed by Managing Director, Ian Johnston, who commented, ìSandrineís European multinational cross-border experience has enabled her to build up significant knowledge of local markets. She has an exceptional ability in winning business, sourcing and delivering solutions across European countries.î

Sandrine has six yearsí experience in the executive search business and will focus on the FMCG industry in her new role at Norman Broadbent. Most recently she has been recruiting for Research & Development roles for a number of consumer healthcare companies across Europe.

A French national, Sandrine began her career in China at the French Chamber of Commerce and the French Ministry of Finance recruiting local and expatriate talent. She then moved into search consultancy in Beijing across a range of industry sectors including retail, pharmaceutical, energy and consumer. Based out of London for the past four years, Sandrine holds MAs in both Chinese Studies and Political Science and speaks fluent English, French and Mandarin.

The Industry & Manufacturing Practice has appointed Lucy Theaker as a Consultant in the Birmingham office. Lucy reports to the practice area Managing Director, Beth Cauldwell, who commented, ìLucyís regional experience will be hugely beneficial to our team. Additionally she will also be responsible for the practice areaís environmental and corporate responsibility sectors.î

Lucy began her career in human resources before entering the field of international recruitment, sourcing and managing large technical teams of senior IT professionals, supplying primarily blue chip clients within the mobile telecoms and technology markets.

Following a career break to travel and train as a professional scuba diving instructor, Lucy returned to executive recruitment with a particular focus on the Midlands region.
