The app builds a candidate’s professional profile, but respects their privacy. Instead of letting potential employers see all of a candidate’s embarrassing photographs, employers get access to what they need to know – education, work history and current employer – on Facebook, while more information is available to organisations that register on BraveNewTalent.com.
According to BraveNewTalent CEO Lucian Tarnowski, “Employers want a presence on social networks, but they want to do it professionally.” The app takes an employer’s profile from BraveNewTalent.com and puts it within reach of Facebook users. There’s no need for users to leave the social network to be able to keep up to date with the news, vacancies, tweets and blogs from employers. The app takes care of the cross network communication so employers don’t have to constantly monitor different platforms. It can all be done from within BraveNewTalent.
Users can choose to follow employers without revealing their personal information and images. “We have built the application with the extra care of making sure users’ Facebook profiles will not be exposed to employers in any way,” said Lucian Tarnowski. “Instead, we are bringing together the best of both worlds: users can see where their friends work, share job opportunities and keep up with all the social media content from their employers.
