NES has appointed senior recruitment consultant

NES has appointed senior recruitment consultant, Hamed Bastan-Hagh to its head office.

Hamed, who graduated from Aston University, Birmingham with a BSc (Hons) in Politics and Sociology, will be joining the company’s process division as a senior oil and gas recruitment consultant.

Bringing a number of year’s recruitment experience gained within the IT sector to his new position, Hamed will be joining a team of 15 UK recruiters working on oil and gas. Demand for NES services, both domestically and overseas, has increased in accordance with both the recent raft of North Sea oil licence renewals and applications and the price of crude oil per barrel rising to in access of $70, which has given Hamed’s role particular significance.

Says Sarah Taylor, oil and gas division manager at NES: The demand we have been experiencing lately for experienced oil and gas engineers has been phenomenal and without the appointment of Hamed to our process division, we simply would not be able to satisfy the surge of requirements that our clients have been feeding through to us.
