MyPeopleBiz Case Study: The CV Evolution

By Hannah Perella, MyPeopleBiz

Your Digital CV!

Digital CV’s are the way forward. What once used to be defined by sheets of black and white paper is now being transported to a new and creative world. Designing a digital CV will help you stand out from other applications. You’ll be showing you have invested time into your application and that you’re dedicated for the job.

Remember you are marketing yourself, you want potential employers to see how successful you can be and why you are a good investment. Be artistic in how you present your details, if you can think of another way to say how good you are at something then do it! CV’s are now competing against hundreds of others so don’t cap your enthusiasm.

Of course the traditional version is still vital. We recommend keeping a copy of the conventional format as this is what the employers can refer to if they are bowled over by your digital CV. Research the employer before you send your CV. Try to get a feel for what they’d like and how conservative they are.
