MyJobGroup.co.uk acquires South East England online recruitment company

MyJobGroup.co.uk, the UK's fastest growing network of regional recruitment websites, today announced that parent company saongroup.com has acquired South East England online recruitment company LocalJobsGroup.co.uk. The latest acquisition in saongroup.com's global expansion programme completes the MyJobGroup UK network of regional recruitment websites and more than doubles the number of jobsites operated by the group from forty-five to ninety.

He continued: MyJobGroup.co.uk has experienced tremendous growth since the launch of our first regional website MySheffieldJobs.co.uk in 2005 and the acquisition of our own company by saongroup.com in 2007. In the past twelve months jobseeker traffic has increased by over 350%.

Chapman concluded: In June this year MyJobGroup celebrated a cumulative monthly total of more than half a million unique visitors to our jobsites, a massive jump from one year ago when we recorded over 150,000 unique visitors.

MyJobGroup.co.uk employs 97 people across eight offices in the UK including their head office in Sheffield. Regional jobsites operated by MyJobGroup include WelshJobs.com and ScottishJobs.com, inherited from saongroup in 2007.
