Milkround Online Celebrates a Successful Year

Milkround Online has announced excellent results for the 2009/10 financial year including more than 150,000 new candidates and an increase in year-on-year site visits to graduate recruitment website Milkround.com

Milkround Online has announced excellent results for the 2009/10 financial year including more than 150,000 new candidates and an increase in year-on-year site visits to graduate recruitment website Milkround.com.


As well as being ranked the number one graduate recruitment website for the third year running in the UK Graduate Careers Survey 2010 produced by High Fliers Research, visits to Milkround.com were up 20 percent year-on-year.


Recruiters using Milkround.com were also boosted by more than 150,000 new students and graduates registering with the site, providing fresh talent for their placements, internships, jobs and graduate schemes.


Marketing Manager Chloe Burgess said: “A big round of applause to all our Campus Promotions Assistants, Event Helpers and Milkround Reps across the country who worked so tirelessly to bring in so many new registrations for Milkround.com. It’s set to be an exciting 12 months ahead as a new Milkround.com with a refreshed look is in the works which will attract students and graduates back again and again to research their careers and find that all-important job”.


Behind the scenes, Milkround Online’s in-house IT team has been striving forward with innovative new developments. A new corporate site and the creation of a top-class ATS system for release this year were the highlights.


IT Director Tom Kopka said: “The IT team continues to enhance every aspect of Milkround Online’s technology and I’m looking forward to realising our goal of providing an ATS system which will improve our offering for recruiters and give candidates a smooth journey through the recruitment process.”


The news follows excellent results from a client survey which found 96 percent of clients are ‘Happy’ or ‘Very Happy’ with the results they received from using Milkround Online and 95 percent saying they would recommend the Milkround services.


New General Manager Jenni Wollerton said: “I’m delighted with the way our sales team continues to drive Milkround Online forward and ensure recruiters are so well looked after they want to use us again and recommend our services. We’re aiming to get 100 percent satisfaction with Milkround next year. It’s been an excellent year at Milkround Online: congratulations to the whole team.”
