World class in our job skills and capabilities, Britain’s latest tidal wave of immigrants is sweeping us towards even loftier greatness.

Though the government is red-faced, employers are welcoming these huge numbers of economically-active workers with open arms, says Yngve Traberg, chief executive of ClickAJob, the UK’s largest online job search engine.

Often highly qualified in their own countries, the expertise of our new residents is inspiring ourselves into action too - with an unprecedented upswing in enrolments for higher qualifications, further education and even more specialised training.

With proper skills there should be no fears about job losses, says Traberg.

They’ve known hard times and want to win as much as we do, says Traberg.

The same spirit that sees us through the terrorist threat and other challenges around the world are driving these people just as hard, he says. Like us, they’re determined and never give up.

Traberg concludes, Great already, our migrants are helping to make us even greater. They flock to Britain because it’s the best country for opportunity in Europe, the ideal community to aspire to.
