ìTaleo is a world class leader within the exciting, fast-growing human capital management industry, as well as within the software as a service space. Over the past year, my goal was to find the absolute best leader to ensure continued success in the years ahead, and as we take the company public.î said Mr. Tetu. ìMichael and I have spent a great deal of time together over the past weeks and months detailing the future vision of Taleo. We share similar values, leadership styles and expectations for the business, all revolving around operational excellence, a focus on top talent, and superior value delivered to customers. Michael has an impressive track record at the helm of very large organisations that possess some of the same attributes as Taleo. I am extremely confident in his ability to lead this great company to the next level of success, and I am looking forward to partnering closely with him.î

For the past five years, Mr. Gregoire has been executive vice president of PeopleSoft, leading a re-organisation that produced significant increases in revenue and profits. During his tenure, revenue in the global services business, which Mr. Gregoire ran, grew from $460 million in 2000 to more than $1 billion in 2004, with a corresponding increase in employees from 1,800 to 4,000.

Mr. Gregoire was also responsible for the $1.3 billion PeopleSoft support (maintenance) business, the largest and most profitable revenue stream of the company, and for the PeopleSoft hosting business which, under his leadership, became the fastest growing revenue stream in 2004. Mr. Gregoire had been a member of the PeopleSoft executive management team since May 2000. Before joining PeopleSoft, Mr. Gregoire spent 12 years with EDS, most recently as executive director, Global Financial Markets Group.

ìUnder Louisí leadership, Taleo has established itself as the thought leader for Talent Management,î said Mr. Gregoire. ìBoth Louis and I share a dedication to making Taleo the dominant provider of talent management software as a service, on a global basis. From my view, Taleoís customer base is the envy of our industry, the people are very talented, and the solutions are robust and globally scalable. I am excited about leading this company to the next level of performance, delivery and revenue growth.î
