Cegos UK, part of Europeís largest learning and development company, today announced that it has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Mark Swain as International Key Account Manager.
The announcement follows a number of senior appointments since the beginning of 2009, reaffirming Cegosí commitment to further developing the most appropriate blend of learning and training practices across its current and prospective customer base. At Cegos, Markís brief will be to work with UK and multinational clients to understand skills gaps and rapidly build the competencies and behaviours that key people or teams need to achieve challenging targets and objectives.
Mark has almost 20 yearsí experience in business development and service delivery across many sectors and specialisms. He has a strong commercial grounding gained primarily in the financial, professional and HR services industries, with key skills around business development, solution design, account management, international programmes, project implementation and learning expertise. He has a keen interest in ensuring his clients get real business value from their learning and training initiatives. Mark has extensive experience of working with HR, procurement, finance and the board.
Markís previous roles include KnowledgePool (an SME training brokerage business), Business Development Director at international mobility management firm, Pricoa Relocation, Managing Consultant in the Executive Practice of Hays PLC and Consultant at recruitment, selection and development firm, Mercuri Urval. Prior to working in HR Services, Mark was Divisional Director at Willis, the leading risk management firm.
