Manpower, the UK’s workforce management company, is pleased to announce that Margaret Jones has been appointed Managing Director of Staffing for the Manpower UK business. She will report directly to Managing Director of Manpower UK, Mark Cahill. Margaret joins from Manpower Group company Brook Street where she held the position of Managing Director. She starts work in the new role with immediate effect.
Jones takes on the key role of accelerating the already impressive growth of Manpower’s Staffing business - the permanent and temporary retail operation that is the bedrock of the company’s business.

Her 25 years as part of the Group brings Manpower UK a wealth of management, business and leadership talent that will allow her to take the rapid development and continued growth of our Staffing business to the next level, further strengthening both the image and the performance of the Manpower brand.
Jones has over 25 years of experience in recruitment, and during her time at Brook Street has held various roles including Chief Operating Officer and Operations Director for the Midlands and Northern operations. In 2004, Margaret was appointed Managing Director of Brook Street.
Charles Ashworth, currently Chief Operating Officer at Manpower UK, will become Managing Director of Brook Street Bureau Plc. With over 15 years in the business, Ashworth has held several senior positions including
Operations Director since joining Manpower in 2003. He will now report directly to Yoav Michaely, Senior VP and Managing Director of the Group’s European Operations.
