LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network with over 70m members worldwide, today celebrated another milestone in its growth as it passed 4m members in the UK. The announcement comes less than eight months after the networking site for professionals hit 3m members in late 2009. With one member joining every second worldwide, LinkedIn continues to be the network of choice for professionals looking to establish their online identity, connect with their trusted contacts, share information and take advantage of business and career opportunities.
This latest milestone takes the proportion of UK professionals on LinkedIn to more than one third.
