Kelly Robinson, Founder of Broadbean Technology, was awarded the Life Time Achievement accolade at the London and South East Recruitment Awards on Friday evening at a ceremony in the centre of London.
Judges were impressed by Kellyís contribution to several businesses, including Broadbean and commended him as ìa good ambassador for the industry as a whole.î
The Life Time Achievement award, designed to celebrate the impact an individual has and had on their organisation and the contribution made to the recruitment industry, was presented to Kelly by the RECís Judith Armatage.
Kelly, who has been in the recruitment industry for two decades, has successfully started and grown three recruitment businesses and is in the process of opening Broadbeanís first office outside Europe in the USA.
Kelly, who started Broadbean Technology on a shoestring budget in 2001 said, ìOver the last 20 years, I have enjoyed being a champion of good practice and standards in the recruitment industry. I was delighted to just be nominated, but to actually win against such deserving peers is a very pleasant shock.î
Also a finalist in the Innovative use of Technology category, Broadbean has received several awards this year and was a finalist in the Company of the Year category at the National Business Awards.
