The Learning Network, the support network for providers, assessors and verifiers of NVQís and SVQís has been Accredited with the matrix Standard

The Learning Network, the support network for providers, assessors and verifiers of NVQís and SVQís has been Accredited with the matrix Standard ñ the national quality mark for organisations which provide information, advice and guidance services.

Facilitated by national training standards organisation ENTO, the Learning Network provides authoritative, honest, and clear technical guidance on the assessment and verification of NVQís and SVQís, and it is the quality of the delivery of these external services that has led to The Learning Network being recognised with the national quality mark.

In the year that it took the Learning Network to achieve External matrix Accreditation, the Network has increased its membership by well over 1000 and feedback from customers has been better than ever.

The matrix Standard asks organisations to review the consistency and clarity of communication between themselves and their clients. As part of its own review, The Learning Network formalised its processes and procedures so information could be shared more easily and was made more transparent to all of its members. This included implementing an annual feedback survey, which recently revealed that 94% of all Learning Network members (of which there are over 1700) would recommend the Network to a colleague.

The Learning Network has already seen the tangible benefits that working towards and achieving the matrix Standard can bring for an organisation. In particular the Network saw an increase in sales, as David Morgan, Director of Marketing and Communications at ENTO explained:
