One of the UKís rising stars for recruiting interim managers, Neil Lupin, joins Rockpools today to take the helm of their growing Interim Management practice.
Neil brings with him over nine yearsí contract and interim management recruitment experience within the public sector. Previously working with Penna Interim Executive, Neil has a nationally-recognised track record of placing interim managers in local authoritiesí top teams across England and Wales. Last year, he won Human Resource Magazineís Excellence Award 2005 for ìMost Effective Use of Interim Managementî for his work in placing senior HR interims within the London Borough of Ealing.
Neil said: ìIím looking forward to establishing Rockpools as a leading, and ultimately the leading provider of interim managers to all areas of the public sector.
ìBy supporting talented interim managers to develop and grow in their careers, whilst also enabling our clients to not only meet but exceed their business objectives, Rockpools will shape and define best practice in interim management.î he said.
Nev Wilkinson, Rockpoolsí Managing Partner, said: ìYet again, we have been patient. We have waited and waited, and now we have recruited the best of the best to join our team at Rockpools.
ìHaving seen and felt first hand his passion for building lasting client relationships, I am in no doubt at all that he will thrive within the Rockpools culture ñ and will build a very successful business for us.î
Hamish Davidson, Chairman and senior Partner said: ìI very nearly hired Neil many years ago, and my failure to do so at the time is something I have always regretted. It is a decision that I am now delighted to be able to correct. My colleague, Elizabeth Solaru has done a great job of getting what was a brand new interim business off the ground and established. With Neil coming on board, we now have the expertise, leadership and capacity to embark on a period of dramatic growth for this element of our overall offering.î
Elizabeth Solaru, Rockpoolsí consultant, said: ìItís been extremely challenging and personally rewarding to get the interim management business at Rockpools off the ground. I am delighted that a critical and growing area of work within the executive recruitment sector in Rockpools will receive the attention it deserves.
ìMy colleagues and I wholeheartedly welcome and look forward to working with and learning from Neil, who is an experienced and well regarded leader in his field.î
Neil has established two public sector interim management businesses in the past - firstly at Hays Personnel, and more recently at Penna, where he was part of the team that expanded the firmís interim management practice from 13th to second largest in just two years.
He also produced the Public Sector People Managersí Association (PPMA) ìHow To Recruit An Interim Managerî Guide, published in April 2006.
Neil is a highly talented music photographer, with his images often used in magazines and on album covers. For more information on this aspect of Neilís life, see www.neillupin.com.
